The Peach Music Festival has confirmed dates for 2021, taking place at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA on 1 Thursday, July -4 Sunday, July, 2021. This year the lineup is jam-packed, with a lineup reminiscent of the early Bonaros.
The eclectic musical group of Oysterhead, Trey Anastasio, Les Claypool, and Stewart Copeland, will headline the 2021 Peach Music Festival. After the pandemic canceled the 2020 celebration, Peach, founded by members of the Allman Brothers band in 2012, returned to Scranton, Pennsylvania over the Independence Day weekend.

Is the Peach Festival 2021 Cancelled?
This year’s Peach Music Festival, which is due to take place in Pennsylvania this summer, will no longer go as planned amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Originally, the festival was christened to begin at Montage Mountain in Scranton. However, “due to extreme caution” the event has been postponed to July 1-4, 2021. While the headlining performances will remain the same – including sets for Oysterhead, String Cheese Incident, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, fans can also expect “some delicious additions, special sets, and surprises mixed in” next year.
Organizers said in a statement this week, “While we are disappointed to share the news, the health and safety of the entire Peach community is our top priority.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience and kindness as we work through this process,” the organizers said. “Thanks Peach family! Soon we’ll be back together sharing blue skies and sunny days. In the meantime, please take care of yourself and each other. We’ll see you in Peach!”

The Peach Music Festival Announces Jam-Packed 2021 Lineup
Warren Haynes will also bring some new flair — and Allman Brothers credits — to the 2021 lineup, while bluegrass phenom Billy Strings and rising star Goose didn’t move past the 2020 roster.
Also in the Peach Fest 2021 lineup are Umphrey’s McGee, Mo., Dark Star Orchestra, Pigeon Playing Ping Pong, Twiddle, Ottil & Friends, Spafford, Dopapod, Ghost Light, Blackberry Smoke, Doom Flamingo, Keller Williams, Neil Francis, Scott Sharard. Huh. & Friends, Andy Fresco and The UN, TAUK, Aquatic, Nicole Atkins, Brandon “Taz” Niederaur, Cordova, The Eighth Power Featuring Jennifer Hartswick, The Kitchen Dwellers, Mikaela Davis, Magic Beans, Karina Rickman, Blind Boys of Alabama and more Are included.
The Allman Brothers Band roots at Peach Fest will be on full display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fillmore East. Burbridge, Warren Haynes, Jamo, Devon Allman and The Allman Bates Band are also set to play. Turkuaz will bring his Talking Heads Remain in Light performance, originally scheduled for 2020, featuring Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison and Adrian Bellew.
The Peach Music Festival began back in 2012 and The Peach has become a beloved annual festival in northeastern Pennsylvania. The Peach takes place each year at The Pavilion in Montage Mountain, a ski area in Scranton, PA. Unfortunately this festival could not take place in 2020 like many other festivals due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As it was cancelled.
The Peach festival will take place in 2021 until reopening in Pennsylvania continues as planned. According to the New York Times, Pennsylvania is set to open fully by May 31. The festival includes camping, vendors, live music and more. The announcement did not include information on what the festival would look like in terms of COVID-19 guidelines or other social distancing measures, but it could be assumed that it would at least follow state and local guidelines.
Tickets for The Peach Fest are already on sale. There are 2 types of non-VIP passes: a 4-day reserve pass and a 4-day GA pass. 4-Day Reserved Passes give you a reserved seat in Pavilion level 100 during headlining acts and performers directly before headlining acts.
Before those performances, everyone would have access to level 100 except for a small portion reserved for the VIP viewing area. During major performances, a 4-day GA Pass will give you access to all remaining areas of the concert venue except for the level 100 and VIP areas. The 2021 wristbands will be shipped out approximately 3 weeks before the event. Those who wish to camp must purchase a Festival Pass + Camping Bundle. There are currently 4 day general admission passes available.

The Peach Music Festival Confirms 2021 Lineup
Peach Music Festival has confirmed the lineup for its 2021 event, which is scheduled to take place from July 1 to July 4 at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA—making it the first major four-day music and camping festival of the year.
Other headliners include Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, The String Cheese Incident, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, all performing two sets each.
In addition, Turkuaz will pay tribute to Talking Heads’ masterpiece Ramen in Light by performing the album in its entirety with special guests Jerry Harrison, Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison and Adrian Bellew—both of which can be heard on the original album. Like Oysterhead, this Turkuaz/Harrison/Belev Ramen in Light combo had big plans for the album’s 40th anniversary in 2020. Now, the 2021 Peach Set will mark the first ever live performance by the project.
